The programs are designed to improve health outcomes for two diverse segments of patients in Massachusetts: those with hypertension and Medicaid members with both chronic conditions and nutrition insecurity.

Season Health has secured a $7 million investment from Inception Health and Ziegler Link-age Fund. The financing will be used to develop and scale its food-as-medicine programs, including for diabetes and high-risk pregnancies.

By acquiring clinical assets from Wellory, Season Health will be able to greatly expand its provider network. The company will also gain national contracts with Aetna and Cigna.
